Site Visit to determine impact of felling
Hi Ben,
I agree a site visit is vital to deduce various affects of the proposed felling.
I personally did a site visit on sunday to examine the trees scheduled for felling and was more concerned about the general condition of the pavements, walls and roads than that of the trees. Especially on Demesne Road where the damage by trees to the pavements is most evident. There are some which clearly need attention or probably felling but overall a lot more has to be decided with an integrated approach because when you remove the tree you will still be left with an unsightly stump and the pavements will look even worse unless of course MCC have made some provision for repairs to those specific sites?
